Membership requirements

Members are people who transmit the ESPERE® method as practitioner with individuals, presenter, trainer or resource people.


They fulfill the training and practice conditions of the ESPERE® method in accordance with requirements defined under «training course outline".
Their membership requests have been submitted to the acceptance of the Institute office as well as their appointment according to the various defined rubrics.
They committed by signing the following chart.


Chart of the ESPERE Institute®

This chart is intended for people transmitting the ESPERE® method who explicitly refer to the method in their practice and who ask to adhere to the Institute as ESPERE presenter, ESPERE presenter trainer, or as practitioner with individuals or resource person.

The signatory of the chart commits to respect the following provisions which fall more globally under the spirit of the ESPERE method®: He acknowledges being willing:

  • To apply the rule of confidentiality and anonymity, meaning to not divulge information touching the personality, the history or the intimacy of his clients or trainees.
  • To define his possibilities and to specify limits of his interventions or of his field of activities.
  • To update and to deepen his basic theoretical knowledge, and to update his competencies by his participation to training sessions, steady reading of books.
  • To give himself means to regularly participate to a confrontation group about the practice and sharing of his experiences with other practitioners of the ESPERE method.
  • To continue his more personal training under the form of follow up in regular individual or collective supervision.
  • To clearly mention the ESPERE® method in its specificity without merging or confusing it with other practices in his transmission of the method and in the writing of his presentation documents.
  • To respect the legislation in force in his country of residence and to take into consideration the context of his practice by referring, in particular, to each profession’s own deontology code.
  • To be particularly vigilant to not maintain attitudes of putting under dependency or subordination that would contribute to establish or to maintain relations of ascendancy, alienation or domination on the financial, psychological, moral or sexual level, during the entire duration of the contract of accompaniment.
  • To accept the arbitration of the ESPERE Institute® in case of disagreement or conflict with clients or trainees, or in case of non respect of the chart.
  • To define himself as being neither sympathising nor a member of a movement exercising sectarian practices.
  • To undertake (or to attest having already undertook) a process of psychotherapy type or personal analysis with an authorized professional and in reference to a recognized practice.
